This is a personal blog. I blog about personal things, political things, sexy things, romantic things, things that are going on in my life and things that I wish were happening in my life. So if you’re going to follow along, welcome aboard. Enjoy the ride.

My name is Kai.

Sometimes I go by Kaila.

Once upon a time, I went by Richie.

I live in a small suburb just north of Toronto, and I hope to be moving downtown by Fall, 2012.

A lot of people feel that your sexuality should not encompass your life, and I a while ago, I would have agreed. But if you wear it on your skin, feel it in your strut and hear it in your voice, it becomes difficult to hide, and perhaps you shouldn’t try to hide it at all. 

I recently just finished the final year of my undergrad in English. What are you going to do with that, you ask? Well, that’s a pretty big question. Currently, my main goal is to become a writer. Specifically, I’d like to write for television, and maybe throw in a novel or two. 

I was born in Hong Kong and brought over to Canada when I was four, and I have lived here since. I’ve spent time in Paris, Berlin, Vancouver, Victoria, and Montreal. I’ve done some exploring of the west coast, and someday I’ll beckon to the east. I do want to one day make a pilgrimage back to China, but we’ll see where life takes me.
