ii) I will treat you like a person, like an equal, because your life, thoughts and experiences are precious and worthwhile.

iii) I will encourage dreaming.

iv) I will support your choice to pursue those dreams.

v) I will learn with you the things you want to learn.

vi) I will give you space when you need it. 

vii) I will have faith in you.

viii) I will put every effort forward to make time for you.

ix) I will make you laugh. 

x) I will remember who you were, who you’ve become, and who you want to be.

xxi) I will commit, unionize, and/or marry you, and I will celebrate our anniversary every single year with you.

xxii) I will take you on adventures.

xxiii) I will make you believe in magic.

xxiv) I will go to the gym, eat healthy, and check my mirrors and blind spots before I switch lanes so that I may live a very long life with you.

xxv) I will keep the ticket stubs from our favorite movies, shows and concerts, and toss out the crappy ones.

xxvi) I will get over your stinky feet.

xxvii) I will make love to you, and then fuck your brains out.

xxviii) I will cook all Holiday Dinners if you do the dishes. 

xxix) I will never shy away from being photographed with you. There can never be too many photos of us together.

xxx) I will learn to program the DVR so you can watch Jersey Shore. 

xxxi) When you lose control of your bowels in old age, I will laugh with you and not at you. 

xxxii) I will commit fully to our silliness; to our bits, our weird tangents, and our ever evolving sense of humour. 

xxxiii) I will never try to “solve” everything by myself. 

xxxiv) I will never be afraid to hold your hand.
