"Faith, in its broadest sense, is about far more than belief in the existence of God or the disregard of scientific evidence. Faith is the willingness to give ourselves over, at times, to things we do not fully understand. Faith is the belief in things larger than ourselves. Faith is the ability to honor stillness at some moments and at others to ride the passion and exuberance that is the artistic impulse, the flight of the imagination, the full engagement with this strange and shimmering world."

So I signed up for a continuing education course at local college in the city. It lasts for about three months, and it should be pretty neat. I’m going to make the best of whatever it ends up turning out to be. I’ve come to recognize that I’m a bit of a scaredy cat, and I tend not to do anything unless someone orders me to because to be quite honest, I don’t have a lot of confidence in myself when it comes to my talents and abilities.

Another bonus is this: I’m auctioning off a photograph of mine at a Gay and Lesbian film festival in Toronto, which you can see HERE. The festival is Toronto’s InsideOut Film fest, and this will be its 22nd year! They’ve got some great stuff going down, so that is awesome. Toronto in the summer is going to be pretty jam-packed!

In addition, my love of music has returned as I just bought tickets to four different concerts. I’m crazy, I know. But since I didn’t spend the ridiculous amount of money I had saved on Madonna, I can now see FOUR concerts instead of just ONE.

So how are you guys doing?
